Announcement: Due to an unexpected time conflict, the second workshop shall be held on Aug 29th from 10:30-12pm and 2-4pm in N106.

ASCC'09 is proud to host the following three pre-conference workshops in areas related to systems and control by the experts in the fields. All student participants can register to attend any one of the workshops for free. For head counting purpose, all interested students, please register (without payment) for the workshop in advance.

Workshop 1: Analysis and Design of Biomolecular Feedback Systems.

Workshop 2: A Control System Approach to Energy Systems.

Organizers: X. Xia (Univ of Pretoria, South Africa) and J. Zhang (Univ of Pretoria, South Africa)

Workshop 3: Modeling, Estimation and Control: Applications in Neuroscience.

Organizers: S. Sarma (MIT, USA), M. Dahleh (MIT, USA) and F. Karameh (AUB, Lebanon)

 

Time:

Workshop 1 & 3 are to be held on Aug 26th from 9am to 6pm with lunch break from 12:30pm to 2pm.
Workshop 2 is to be held on Aug 29th from 10:30 to 4pm with lunch break from 12:30pm to 2pm..

Venue:

Workshop I (Analysis and Design of Biomolecular Feedback Systems): N104 and N105.
Workshop II (A Control System Approach to Energy Systems): N106.
Workshop III (Modeling, Estimation and Control: Applications in Neuroscience): N111 and N112.

All rooms (N104, etc.) are in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
