The Asian Control Conference (ASCC) is a biennial event and a major control event held in Asia. ASCC provides researchers, engineers, and professional worldwide with excellent opportunities to get together and exchange their findings and views.
The history of ASCC dates back to 1994 when the first ASCC was held in Tokyo. The subsequent conferences then were held in Seoul (1997), Shanghai (2000), Singapore (2002), Melbourne (2004), and Bali (2006). All of them had hundreds of participants coming from around the world. The seventh ASCC is scheduled to be held in Hong Kong in 2009 (due to that IFAC World Congress will be held in 2008, Seoul). This conference is supported by HKIE CAI division. The ACA wishes to a successful ASCC conference.
The Proceedings of the 7th Asian Control Conference (ASCC 2009) will
be included in IEEE Xplore.
It will thus customarily be indexed by EI Compendex.
The Proceedings of ASCC 2009 will be reviewed after the conference for possible indexing by the Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science (CPCI-S), formerly known as Index to Scientific and Technical Proceedings (ISTP). We are confident that the review will be successful. The Proceedings of ASCC 2004 and ASCC 2006 were indexed by ISTP.
ASCC 2009 will give two awards: Shimemura Young Author Prize and the Best Poster Paper Prize.
ASCC 2009 will provide partial travel support to selected authors from developing countries to present their papers in the conference.
